ACCORDING to the local television news and press there are serious concerns regarding the supply of water within the Wealden Area.
As a Polegate resident of some years this appears to be a constant concern within the area.
Secondly, there would appear to be significant concern regarding the maintenance of some services at Eastbourne District General Hospital such as maternity and twenty four hour cardiac care.
Bearing this in mind, could somebody please explain why there is a wish to increase the number of families within the Wealden area when there are already significant issues in the maintenance of basic utilities’ such as water and medical care?
Surely it is not rocket science to recognise that you can’t get a quart into a pint pot or, do the planning authorities have a cunning plan such as ignoring the obvious?
