Cycle path is a waste of money, but well done to the gardening team

I would like to comment on the so-called “cycle path” alongside King Edward’s Parade. There are no signs indicating it is a cycle lane. Because of this cars disregard it and park overlapping the kerb, leaving too little or no room for a cyclist to escape pot holes or drain covers, and if riding on the pavement, to avoid lamp posts and car wing mirrors. It is a complete failure and a total waste of money. On a positive side I would like to commend the gardening team on the excellent job they have done in tidying up the overhanging bushes. I had not been up that way for some time, and was very impressed.
