AS participant in the recent Classic Car Cavalcade and show on the Western Lawns, I must congratulate the organisers.
Our 1952 Morris Minor car had one of the pride of places and we enjoyed good music and food, the Fun Fair which our grandchildren enjoyed, and the flotilla of boats from Sovereign Harbour. All was really enjoyable.
The wind was a bit chilly but fortunately no rain.
We couldn’t stay for the evening with the Jubilee Concert on the big screen TV but understand it was very well attended and the fireworks and beacon lighting all made for a great event. Again a big thanks to the organisers for a job well done.
