Bangers & Mash simply smashing!

WE would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our ‘Bangers and Mash’ lunch at the Matthew 25 Mission on February 18.

With our guests’ kindness we have been able to raise £215 to feed the vulnerable in Eastbourne at Brodie Hall.

We can only continue our work with the help from kind donations such as these.

Our work in 2011 had increased hugely; we managed to provide 14,000 meals.

Our expectation for 2012 is to continue our drop-in centre and also to provide approximately 18,000 meals.

Our family group is continuing to grow on Friday evenings and we have also set up a parent and toddler group on a Wednesday morning.

New groups include a music, art and an ex-serviceman’s evening.

We still have our community support shop on Seaside.

If you would like to visit the centre and see what we do, please come along any week day between 10am and 3pm.

Have a coffee with us and we will be happy to share our work with you.

SANDY MEDWAY,

chair & chief executive officer of Matthew 25 Mission.
