Eastbourne youngsters are being asked to learn the art of knitting and join in with a charity challenge from this month to help raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
They can even join forces with their parents or grandparents for a knitting project to help fundraise for the trust and its work.
Chris Prentis from Super Tramp which is behind the scheme, said, “Our plea asking people to knit legwarmers, which will be sold in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, has been incredibly popular. The free pattern is easy to follow so with adult help youngsters will be able to make their own pair of legwarmers. Once the legwarmers are knitted we are asking people to send them back in so that they can be sold via our website with all proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which is our Charity of the Year.”
The pattern for the legwarmers can be downloaded at www.supertramp.co.uk.
