TSB in Eastbourne is holding a sponsored bike ride from Eastbourne to Brighton for You Raise Me Up local charity.

TSB’s Partners in Eastbourne will be aiming to raise £500 for their Local Charity Partner, You Raise Me Up, by holding a sponsored bike ride from Eastbourne to Brighton on 2nd October 2015.

Like TSB, You Raise Me Up is passionate about helping the local community in Eastbourne to thrive. The funds raised will be used to support families who have lost their children between the ages of 16-24, helping to pay for their funerals if they don’t have the funds themselves and to help provide counselling for the families if needed.

Dee Osborne, branch manager at TSB in Eastbourne, said, “You Raise Me Up is a vital part of our local community and we’re really proud to have them as our local charity partner.

“Our team in Eastbourne have worked hard putting in a lot of time and dedication to make this event a success. We will really enjoy our bike ride to Brighton and it is fantastic to know the difference that our efforts will make.”

Jane Brooks, charity founder of You Raise Me Up, said, “We are hugely grateful to TSB and its local partners in Eastbourne.

“The money they are raising and the general support we’re getting is helping us to deliver really important services in Sussex.

“Having major businesses like TSB supporting us locally is a great way of making our community stronger.”

TSB’s aims to help fuel local economies across Britain. I

nstead of having a centrally chosen charity of the year, staff working at TSB are supporting a local cause that shares the bank’s passion for helping local communities thrive.
