The Iron Throne of Westeros will be the centrepiece of a Game of Thrones exhibit at this year’s WynterCon in Eastbourne on October 31 and November 1.

WynterCon’s inaugural event last year saw the Winter Garden turned into a venue for all sorts of fantasy, horror and alternative culture to mix in a family-friendly weekend of fun and discovery. It proved to be an extremely popular event and is returning this year with the addition of a Game of Thrones exhibit.

This year’s line-up also includes a Magic: The Gathering tournament, a full-size ED-209 Enforcement Droid and Tim Burton’s Batmobile, plus multiple guests, traders and cosplay groups.

Joining Kayla will be a guest list that includes comic artist Richard Starkings, actresses Emily Booth, Caroline Munro, and Virginia Hey, actors Julian Seager, Spencer Wilding and Terry Molloy plus many more.Cosplay groups Iconic Legion, Halo Cosplay UK (HCUK) and Thanet Cosplay (Thanet cos) will be in attendance, supporting and encouraging cosplayers old and new in competing for the WynterCon Cosplay Cup.

This year, the Author’s Section continues with an appearance by Robert Rankin and Eastbourneian James Lovegrove will be taking a break from heading toward his hundredth book to appear with a selection from his vast back catalogue. See www.wyntercon.com for more information.
