PUT YOUR best foot forward for Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Walk Ten on September 8.
The walk will take place in the evening and culminates in celebrations and fireworks in support of Marie Curie nurses who provide free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes.
Following the walk, which starts at 6pm, there will be fireworks, music and a picnic with a Seaside theme to celebrate the work of Marie Curie nurses.
Registration is £10 per person in advance (children free) and £20 to register on the night.
Everyone is encouraged to raise as much as they can to help Marie Curie nurses provide more free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes and in the charity’s hospices.
Louise Stone, Marie Curie Cancer Care’s events manager for East Sussex, said, “There’s been a really enthusiastic response to Walk Ten and there’s still time for anyone to sign up.
“All the funds raised by participants will help Marie Curie Nurses to provide more care to local people with terminal illnesses and we’d encourage everyone taking part to raise as much as they can.”
