VIDEO: Lorry is pulled free from mud on A27

The A27 was closed for a number of hours this morning (Friday, November 27) after a lorry left the road and got stuck in mud.

The lorry was reported to have left the road at 5.29am. Police attended the scene, but there were no injuries and the road was not affected.

The area was closed near Firle at 10:30am this morning to enable recovery to take place.

The incident caused severe delays on the A27 this morning between Drusillas Roundabout and the A26 junction.

The road has since re-opened.
