Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn has spoken with supporters in Eastbourne this weekend while attending a trade union conference in the town.
Mr Corbyn, who was attending the annual conference of the transport union TSSA, spoke to Labour party members outside the View Hotel on Sunday (May 8).
He was seen outside of the hotel meeting with local supporters and signing autographs.
He said, “I’ve just been told some important news; that the Labour party in Eastbourne is bigger than any other party. We are growing on the south coast. Labour are the future of the south coast.”
He also spoke about the Labour party’s vision for education.
Mr Corbyn said, “Every child deserves their imagination to be unlocked, we invest in children so that we all benefit in the long run.”
