A young comedian from Eastbourne is utilising an innovative way to showcase his work - on Youtube.
And after four months, Alex Partridge, 26, has built up quite a following on social media - with 70,000 fans on his Facebook page “The Unluckiest British Bloke Ever”.
But it’s not just comedy clips which he posts on his Youtube and Facebook sites - he sometimes creates serious and heartwarming videos.
An example of this, is when he went around Eastbourne giving Easter eggs to the homeless, and captured it all in video (above).
On why he started up his Youtube channel, he said, “From my point of view, I have travelled a lot to do the stand-up and sometimes I might only play to five to ten people. I have realised the potential in social media to reach a lot more people.
“It’s 90 per cent comedy, with a bit of serious stuff as well.
“My main goal is making people smile.”
