Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses after a serious accident in Hampden Park this morning (November 19).
Emergency services were called to Lottbridge Drove at 9.45am, after two vehicles, a flatbed Ford Transit van and a Toyota Celica, were involved in a collision.
A 29-year-old man was taken to St George’s Hospital in London in an air ambulance with serious injuries. The two men in the Ford Transit were uninjured.
Sergeant Dave Morgan said, “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area when the collision took place. We thank motorists for their patience while we closed the road between the roundabout at B&Q and the roundabout at Hampden Park.
