Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a crash on the A27 at the weekend which left two men in hospital.

At 11.40am on Saturday (August 15) a motorcycle and a VW Polo collided on the A27 at Westham, near Stone Cross.

The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old St Leonards man, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with a suspected broken leg.

His pillion passenger, a 19-year-old man also from St Leonards, sustained minor injuries and was also treated at the RSCH before being discharged. The car driver was unhurt.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to email Sussex Police at 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 639 of 15/08.
