UPDATE: Man found ill in Eastbourne toilet

Emergency services were called to public toilets in Eastbourne town centre this morning (February 29).

Police and paramedics were called to Hyde Gardens at around 8.45am after a man in his 30s was found suffering from breathing difficulties in the public toilets.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Eastbourne DGH for further treatment.

Hyde Gardens has been re-opened following the incident.
