Two men attempt to steal trolley full of whiskey from Seaford shop

Police are investigating the attempted theft of a shopping trolley full of whiskey and groceries from Morrisons in Seaford.

A member of staff saw the trolley filled with £200 worth of goods being taken the wrong way through the barriers before it was abandoned and two men ran away.

A police spokesman said, ”We are keen to talk to the man pictured on CCTV shown leaving the shop.

“The two men are described as in their 20s, slim, having dark hair and wearing blue jeans. One had an orange jacket; the other a royal blue jacket.

“Anyone who recognises the man or has any information is asked to contact police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
