Motorists are facing long delays this morning after an accident on the A22.

The road is currently closed in both directions after an accident at east Hoathly which is affecting traffic heading towards and out of Eastbourne and Hailsham.

Police say there is queuing traffic on the A22 at Golden Cross and on Park Lane to the B21214 road to Laughton and Ringmer.
