The main roads across the county are reporting no major incidents so far for motorists but there is disruption on some train services.

Today (Sunday, March 19), there are no Southeastern trains to and from London Charing Cross, London Cannon Street or London Waterloo East, with some trains starting and terminating at London Bridge and others diverted to start and finish at London Victoria.

On the Charing Cross to Hastings line, services will start and end at London Bridge and are being diverted via Redhill.

On Southern lines, owing to a signalling fault in the Lewes area Southern is currently unable to run a train service between Lewes and Seaford as of this morning.

Bus replacement services are being arranged to operate between both towns.

Brighton and Hove buses are accepting tickets on the route 12 between Brighton and Eastbourne via Seaford.

Network Rail engineers have been called out to fix the problem

Buses also replace trains between Three Bridges and Brighton and Lewes today.

Anyone heading into Hastings today should bear in mind that the town’s annual half marathon is taking place and diversions and road closures are in place.
