UPDATE: Numerous casualties after three-car Bexhill crash

Numerous people were injured with at least one person taken to hospital after a three-car crash on the A259 in Bexhill on Sunday (February 26).

Emergency services were called to the A259 Little Common Road at around 2.55pm after reports of a crash involving three vehicles outside The Denbigh pub.

Initial reports to paramedics suggested six people were hurt in the accident.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said ‘one or two’ casualties were taken to the Conquest Hospital for treatment.

The road was partially blocked westbound until all vehicles were recovered by about 4.15pm.
