Police appeal after Lottbridge Drive accident

Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses after a serious accident in Hampden Park this morning (November 19).

Emergency services were called to Lottbridge Drove at 9.45am, after two vehicles, a flatbed Ford Transit van and a Toyota Celica, were involved in a collision.

A 29-year-old man was taken to St George’s Hospital in London in an air ambulance with serious injuries. The two men in the Ford Transit were uninjured.

Sergeant Dave Morgan said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area when the collision took place. We thank motorists for their patience while we closed the road between the roundabout at B&Q and the roundabout at Hampden Park.
