Mr Taylor, of Jevington Gardens, was a father of three who had moved from London to Eastbourne nine years ago. Harrison has been bailed to appear at Eastbourne Magistrates’ Court on May 5.
A 17-year-old girl from Eastbourne, who was also a passenger in the silver Vauxhall Astra, was taken to hospital with an injured leg. The other passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Eastbourne, was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent but was later released without charge.
