Airbourne 2016 got off to a flying start in Eastbourne.

There to catch the action on the opening day was photographer Jon Rigby, who took this stunning picture of the Breitling Wingwalkers.

Other highlights included the Tigers Parachute Display Team, The Blades and The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The eagerly-anticipated Red Arrows are due to launch the flying programme on Friday (August 12) with their high precision display due to start at 1pm.
