Thousands raised for homeless by local estate agents

An estate agents in Eastbourne has raised cash for a homeless charity.

Andrews Estate Agents raised the money for the Estate Agency Foundation. The staff organised coffee mornings, Christmas events and curry nights to raise the impressive £15,734. They also took part in a 24-hour spin challenge and a sponsored static bike ride.

Most of the fundraising was done in December but earlier in the year, staff were involved in charity golf and football tournaments.

The Estate Agency Foundation was set up in 2008 and supports recognised, well-established charities including Shelter, St Mungo’s and Broadway.

Nick Wright, financial director at Andrews and Partners, said, “It was wonderful to see our Eastbourne staff making such an effort to raise money, and we also need to thank customers and locals who got involved.”
