THE COMMUNITY can put their brains to the test this Saturday (April 13) at a fun quiz complete with fish and chips.
The Seaford Twinning Association (STA) is hosting the event which focuses on general knowledge.
There is a small prize for the winning team and admission is £1 a head, with fish and chips at a cost. To book a place, and to order your meal, ring Garry on 01424 201610.
The evening begins at 7.30pm prompt and is taking place at Seaford Council Chamber at 37 Church Street.
Doors open at 7pm.
Visitors are very welcome. Everyone is asked to bring their own drinks and any donations of raffle prizes will be gratefully received. The STA has been keeping busy and plans to visit its twin town Bönningstedt, at the beginning of May. Anyone interested in joining the association, and taking part in future visits or hosting opportunities, should contact Liz on 896315.
The association is also currently reviewing its own activities and planning for the next few years. It is holding an open discussion on the afternoon of Saturday April 14 in the Council Chamber at 2pm.
Former members, current ones, potential members, and anyone else with ideas for developing and strengthening the existing link with Bönningstedt can attend that meeting.
Existing Friendship Links with Crivitz Germany and Crivitz Wisconsin will also be up for discussion. Mark Brown, STA Chairman, will host the meeting.
