Teenager charged with three Eastbourne burglaries

An 18-year-old man is to appear in court charged with carrying out three burglaries in Eastbourne.

Jason White is accused of breaking into homes in Percival Road and Wilton Avenue on January 10 and in Parkway on December 20 to steal purses, mobile phones and cash.

White, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 5.

Sussex Police launched Operation Magpie to tackle burglary across the county.
