A teacher at Heron Park Primary Academy in Eastbourne has been quizzed over allegations that a 10-year-old boy was physically assaulted.
Police revealed this week an incident took place on April 17 in which a 10-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by a teacher at the school in Dallington Road.
The incident was reported to police on April 18 and an investigation was carried out by police, the education authority and social services.
It was later decided that no criminal offence had been committed and police say the matter was left with the school to deal with.
