Old Town Fete returns to the Recreation Ground in Longland Road this Saturday (July 17).
The annual traditional village fete will take place between 2pm and 5pm.
The bottom of the field will be filled with a huge variety of stalls, sideshows and a range of refreshments including ice creams.
There will also be a novelty dog show, watt bikes, a caricaturist, face painting, a tombola, bouncy castles and an art and photography competition for children and young people.
The Polegate Miniature Railway will be a new attraction this year, offering train rides.
The village fete is being organised by Community Wise with the support of Old Town Churches, Friends of Old Town Recreation Ground, local Old Town councillors, Just4You in Albert Parade and lots of willing local volunteers. Entrance is free.
