In addition Louise Pearce, Georgina Hazeldene, Troy Putland, Chris Lovell and Nigel Selvey from the store were part of the 5,000 colleagues who went to the Olympic Park to experience a day of Paralympic sport, including wheelchair basketball.
Sainsbury’s store manager Tony Gagola told the Herald. “We wanted to come up with a specialk photographic opportunity which really captured our community’s support for the Paralympic Games and one that would live long in the memory.
“We hope that this event will help maintain the buzz of the Paralympic Games, which we’re proud to be sponsoring.”
