A team from the Hydro Hotel raised charity case by going the Whole Hog on a 10k assault course.
The Whole Hog, held at Hindleap Warren on May 12, was in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care and is expected to raise more than £15,000.
All the funds raised will help Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes and in the charity’s hospices.
Whole Hog entrants took part in teams and as individuals, and tackled water, mud, tunnels and climbing ropes.
Kathy Taylor, business development manager of the Hydro Hotel, said, “The teams for the Hydro raised over £2,700 for Marie Curie together and we are very proud.
“The event itself inspires great team work and camaraderie. It was great to take on a challenge like this for such an important cause, and we can’t wait to do it again next year.”
