Two St Andrew’s Prep pupils have celebrated success in the BBC 500 words competition.

Jamie Gordon, Year Five, has beaten 122,900 entrants to a final place in the BBC 500 words competition. His story, Lazy Lucky? tells the story of the secret life of a cat once his owners leave the house.

Kiri Marshall, Year Six, is also to be congratulated for her story, The Old Dairy, which beat 118,900 entries to win a spot in the semi-finals alongside Jamie in the top 4,500.
