STUDENTS from Spain have enjoyed a trip to Eastbourne.
For the 17th time, 34 students and three staff from the English French Centre of Moncada in Valencia accompanied their teachers to the town.
As usual all the students were looked after by families living in the Roselands area and spent their time at lessons in the Ardmore School of English as well as swimming and dancing at the Sovereign Centre, games at the David Lloyd Centre, golf at Treasure Island, watching films at the Curzon Cinema and spending time on Eastbourne Pier.
They also watched the Olympic Torch when it came through Eastbourne last month.
Teacher Mary Aerts said, “The families welcomed us into their homes and looked after us so well.
“The Olympic Torch made 2012 a memorable year for all of us even if the weather was a bit rainy.
“We now look forward to seeing everyone again next year.”
