MORRISONS in Seaford and Save The Children cut a cake to mark the launch of their new charity partnership.

All 451 stores across the UK kick-started the latest Morrisons Raise a Smile charity partnership.

This will also see a number of in-store promotions, including the sale of special Save the Children wristbands at till points.

The limited-edition bands, worn publicly by Save the Children supporters Stacey Soloman, Natasha Kaplinsky and Dervla Kirwin, are £1 each from stores, petrol stations and customer cafes.

All funds raised will support charity work to ensure children across the UK get the best start in life through its Families and Schools Together (FAST) programme.

FAST is a groundbreaking programme to strengthen parents’ relationships with their children, stimulate learning outside school and encourage parents to become more active in their children’s education.

Families attend an eight-week programme giving them the opportunity to cook and eat a meal together. Parents also receive coaching on how to play with their children and how to set boundaries.
