A SEAFORD business has handed a cheque for £500 to charity.

Staff at the Blue Room, a Hair and Beauty Salon in Clinton Place, decided to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer because it has affected clients and family members.

The team initially raised £500 after staff members took part in the Race for Life.

They then set up a Facebook page and vowed that if 500 people joined they would hand over a similar amount.

Thanks to people’s support this was achieved and recently staff handed over a cheque to the charity.

If people would like to look at the page they can visit: www.facebook.com/theblueroomsalon

The team is now looking to support a local charity and anyone with any ideas is welcome to get in touch.
