SEAFORD: Public display for historic images

A SERIES of historical photographs of Seaford will be on display at the town’s museum on April 2.

All of the photographs displayed will include a building or view that still exists in 2011, although many others will have disappeared or been altered to such an extent that they are no longer clearly visible in the townscape.

Visitors will be encouraged to share with the museum their memories of the town and any information they have about the images on show.

People also have the opportunity to nominate buildings in the town which they think have a special place in defining the character of Seaford.

The exhibition will be formally opened at 2pm by Seaford mayor Councillor Bob Allen on Saturday April 2.
