Seaford man charged with using foul language in Eastbourne

A 36-year-old man has been charged with using foul and abusive language towards members of the public and resisting arrest in Eastbourne.

Alan Hollis, of Saltwood Road, Seaford, was arrested by officers on foot patrol close to Eastbourne Pier in Grand Parade on Tuesday (July 15).

He was later charged with breaching Section 5 of the Public Order Act. Hollis is due to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court on September 3.
