A KIND-HEARTED Seaford teenager who raised money for charity by running a half marathon has been recognised for his efforts.

Harry Strong, 13, received a framed certificate from Cancer Research UK (CRUK), who he raised £220 for by taking part in the Seaford event with a friend.

The keen runner decided to support the charity after losing his nan to cancer earlier this year.

He has also been nominated by Benita Wright from CRUK as a torch bearer for Olympic 2012.
