A TEAM of cyclists used pedal power to help wheel in the funds for charity. Clint Allen from Seaford, whose daughter has cystic fibrosis, organised a cycle ride which saw people from different teams travel from Ditchling to Seaford.

A total of 59 riders of all ages and abilities took part and medals were given out to the first, second and third teams - The Shoreham Trojans, Mean Dream Team and Biltong Boys respectively - along with vouchers and puncture repair kits donated by Mr Cycles.

South Coast Roofing in Lewes sponsored the drinks and refreshments at the end and the finishing post and presentation was at the Downs Leisure Centre.

A total of £1,106.06 was raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
