The residents of Shinewater are invited to raise their concerns about the local area at a neighbourhood panel meeting next week.
Representatives from a range of organisations, including the police and the council, will be on hand to chat with residents about issues in the neighbourhood.
Other community events will also attend the event.
The meeting will take place at Shinewater Community Centre at 7.15pm on Wednesday (April 10).
It is organised by the Shinewater Neighbourhood Panel. The chair of the panel, Lori Cronin, was responsible for the dog poo flags which have been cropping up in the area.
Lori says the irresponsible dog owners cleaned up their act after the first 298 were stuck in dog mess around Shinewater. However, the problem is back and Lori and her friend Candy will be out again with flags soon. Lori says the panel is ‘pro-active in all areas’ after a number of campaigns.
