THE CLOSING date for the early bird registration at next year’s Eastbourne Festival is only days away.
People hoping to benefit from a discount need to register before December 31 and all registration will close on January 31.
The Eastbourne Festival has become recognised as an annual showcase for local professional and amateur talent and is now attracting participation and interest at regional, national and international level. Anyone who feels able to organise or introduce a suitable festival event, workshop, music, dance or performance, or Artists’ Open House is given every encouragement to showcase their talent.
The festival enables all strands of the arts from whatever part of the town to be drawn together once a year, to showcase their work with others including local, regional, national and international professionals, to network with other associations from within the town and outside it, and to further expertise by participating in a variety of workshops.
The 2012 Eastbourne Festival, Arts and Culture, will be taking place next year for just over three weeks from Easter Saturday April 7 to Sunday April 29.
Further details of Festival 2012 and registration of events are available at www.eastbournefestival.co.uk Eastbourne Festival relies on sponsors and friends for financial support and anyone wishing to join can do so via the website. Alongside Eastbourne Festival, there is an Eastbourne Festival Fringe which last year included 60s style psychedelic visuals, way out jazz, experimental performance and dance, short art films, burlesque and a Green Fayre.
