Students from Ratton School teamed up with the Towner’s Generate project for teens to spruce up a town centre shop.

The display, organised by the town’s Spruce Up Squad and funded by the Eastbourne Youth Bank, features photos of the students showing their thoughts about Eastbourne – as well as a selection of their GCSE work.

Squad member Tim Church said, “Everyone has been so enthusiastic and it’s been great fun as it all comes together.”

Jane Sula, head of art at Ratton, added, “We’re proud of the artwork our students create and it’s great to exhibit a taster of what we teach at Ratton.”

This is the fifth window display that’s been transformed by the squad.

Past displays have included the Sunshine Carnival, Airbourne and the weekly Street Market.
