YOUNG people at a supported housing complex in Eastbourne have been given a new pool table.
The table was presented to people living at Eastbourne Foyer in St Leonards Road by Eastbourne Conservative councillor Tom Liddiard recently.
The presentation was held during one of Councillor Liddiard’s regular youth forums within the Upperton ward.
He said, “I was absolutely thrilled to see such enjoyment through my donation of the pool table for residents to enjoy.
“Eastbourne Foyer is an incredible asset to our community, supporting young people in developing their independence and preparing them for their lives ahead.
“Having spent nearly three hours with the residents I was really pleased to support them in their projects and help a number of residents with issues they have had difficulties with.”
Cllr Liddiard visits Eastbourne Foyer every six to eight weeks and Upperton residents can visit the councillor’s surgery every third Saturday of the month (10am-11am) at the Town Hall.
