Police seek to reunite owners with their bicycles

TWENTY bicycles need reuniting with their owners in Eastbourne.

The bikes were recovered from a property in the town in May and now Eastbourne Police hope to find their owners.

PC Nick Flude from Eastbourne Neighbourhood Police Team said, “The bicycles were found at a property after a police bait bicycle was stolen from the town centre. We have done various checks on our systems and have not been able to locate the owners.

“I would like to hear from members of the public who have either lost their bicycles or had them stolen but did not report it to the police. We can then take the details and hopefully marry them up to one of the bicycles.

“Also, if they tell us about a bicycle that we have not recovered then we can then report it as lost or stolen and provide them with a reference number.”
