Police searching for a prisoner who walked out and failed to return to Ford Prison have received some new information as to his whereabouts.

Lucas Lamb left the prison on Friday, September 5 last year and police have been appealing for information regarding his location ever since.

While they previously stated he had links to the Hailsham and Eastbourne areas, they are now broadening their enquiries to cover the whole of East Sussex and Swindon in Wiltshire, following receipt of this new information.

The 31-year-old was convicted of GBH with intent in Hailsham on October 2012 and is therefore unlawfully at large.

He is described as white, 5’ 8”, thin with short brown hair and blue eyes with a tattoo on his lower neck which says Cleo and has a scar above his right eye.

Chief Inspector Gary Pike, Wealden District Commander said,“We are offering a reward of £300 for information leading to his arrest.”
