Police investigate break-in at Seaford home

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a property in Seaford.

Between 11am and midday on Wednesday, October 28, the occupant heard someone come into his house on Vale Close and leave again.

When the victim followed him outside, he was a seen running away. Later, at around 3.45pm, a man matching the same description was seen on Chyngton Gardens.

Nothing was believed to have been taken but police are appealing for further witnesses.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged early 50s, with black and greying collar length hair. He was wearing a green coat and brown trousers.

Any witness or anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting serial 1083 of 28/10. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
