PCSO Anita Rockingham presented a Sussex Police cheque for £250 to the Little Acorns Nursery in Hartfield Road.

The nursery wanted to purchase some computer software to enable the learning and development of the children without the use of paperwork. It was decided that an iPad was what they were aiming for so the donation towards the cost helped them to achieve this.

Karen Sweet, nursery manager, said, “It has enabled us to purchase an iPad and the software for gathering observations of the children on the go. It is great to be able to capture the planned and spontaneous important moments of the children’s learning within the nursery in a quick and simple way saving endless record keeping time.”

PCSO Rockingham said she was ‘delighted’ that Sussex Police could help local nurseries.
