Police cash boost for youth radio project

EASTBOURNE Youth Radio has a new lead sponsor.

Eastbourne Police has handed over £300 to the coffers of the project, which sees young people taking over the airwaves of a special radio station later this year.

Eastbourne Youth Radio 87.7 fm is a project involving hundreds of young people from across the Eastbourne area. The station will be on air from 10am on Wednesday, November 14, until 4pm Friday, November 16.

It will be broadcasting on a local FM frequency of 87.7 FM and worldwide via the internet.
