A wanted man has been jailed just hours after being arrested by police.

Scott Solway, 33, formerly of Kingfisher Drive, Eastbourne, was wanted for breaching bail conditions imposed by magistrates on November 26.

He was arrested at an address in Eastbourne today (December 17) and later admitted to five counts of breaching a civil housing injunction when he appeared at Eastbourne County Court this afternoon.

He was sentenced to eight weeks’ imprisonment.
