Police appeal over “verbal abuse” in Pevensey Bay

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident on Friday (July 3) in which a man was verbally abused in Coast Road, Pevensey Bay.

The victim, in his late 30s, was riding home on a motorcycle when the incident occurred at 2.40pm. He was subjected to verbal abuse and a threatening gesture.

The suspect was a white man, who at the time was on foot.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 995 of 3/7.

Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
