More than £9,000 was raised at a charity golf day and dinner for You Raise Me Up, the Eastbourne charity which supports families who lose children unexpectedly.
The event was held at Wellshurst Golf Club at Hellingly.
More than 80 golfers took part in the daytime 18 hole round of golf with more people attending for the dinner in the evening.
It was the fourth year the event has been held.
Jane Brooks, the co-founder of the charity, said the event was amazing and she was delighted with the total raised which will help pay for funerals of young people aged between 16 and 25 who die unexpectedly.
