More than £800 was raised for Polegate charity Children with Cancer during a three-hour fitness event at Hampden Park Sports Centre.
The classes were: Insanity with Tara Gurney and Keeley Pope, Boxercise with Claire Ori and Body Combat with Rebecca Cowcher.
Tara said, “The afternoon couldn’t have gone any better. We raised £810.56 and enjoyed every second of it.
“A huge thank you to Jim Chater of Hampden Park Sports centre who donated the use of the Sports Hall so that we could hold our event in a great venue that was accessible to everyone.
“He was so kind to also donate his time on the day to set up, provide drinks, help with the raffle and clear away.”
The fitness instructors are already planning a similar event for next year. For more information, and for details of the classes they run, visit www.traininsane.info, www.insanelyfit.co.uk, www.abspersonaltraining.co.uk and www.facebook.com/kettlebellfitnesseastbourne
