Mobile phones were stolen during a burglary at an Eastbourne store, which saw the culprits remove part of a wall to gain access to the building.
Police were called this morning (Wednesday) following a report of a burglary overnight in Broadwater Way.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police it appeared that the offenders removed part of a wall to the Currys building before entering into the Phones4U area and stealing a number of mobiles, which were predominately iPhone 5s and 4s.
They added, “It is believed that this burglary happened at about 1.30am. Enquiries are ongoing by local officers to find those responsible and anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or who has information about this crime is asked to call police on 101 quoting serial 0283 of 17 July.
“Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
